Spring in September at Hello Dollies

Holly as Black and White Blanche - such a  beautiful and clever interpretation by Wendy.

Vicki's "Spring" girls
We had a very happy sunny Spring meeting , with lots of show and tell. Three of us caught the train to Fassifern and  we enjoyed the little excursion - we were enjoying it so much chatting merrily that we nearly missed our destination station.
An Anzac nurse by Dolores and of course some knitting.

Jackie's beautiful "under the sea" quilt - great progress

Ann's Tunisian crochet and cleverly plaited wrap

Jo's "Spring" dolls

Marg's Renaissance Rabbit - beautiful crazy patchwork

Very cute  and colourful bags by Marg

Exquisite lace christening gown - Wendy's work  is stunning - lucky grandchild.

Bonnet, shoes and teddy bear - to match the gorgeous gown.

Hat embellished by Dolores, and Jackie's  delightful shoes.

Bobbi's characters - so diverse, such skilled sculpting.
Just a reminder that the NCEATA exhibition is currently on at the Cessnock Regional Art Gallery  until 26 October - I have two dolls there, sorry I couldn't bring them to the September show and tell ....

Next meeting, 25 October  will be at Scrap Needs, Cardiff when Jackie will be demonstrating some techniques for fairy wings.
